Had similar calls myself from that number but also 08716238929 (pretty identical, eh) google'd it and found out that its a scam costing 'bout a fiver to callback....bunch of fooker's. Everybody seemed to have advertised on autotrader
recently....i did too but about a year ago! Big issue is though, no one knows how to stop it....! Anyways google that number and see what others have said.

yeah its a scam, you get called by random 0871 numbers throughout the day, do not ring back because it will cost you about £5 per minute. This happened to me after advertising my car on autotrader. Yet to find a solution to the problem.

Last week, every couple of days, truncated calls from:

08716235676, 08716232828, 08716236505

This week:

08719511081, 08719511086

I also recently advertised in Auto trader.

I have had a couple from 08716236505 in the last few weeks. As far as I remember I haven't advertised on TradeIt, Auto Trader or any of the others, at least in the last two or three years. I just assume it is a scam. The phone companies aren't going to do anything to stop it as they earn money from the calls as well.

I Googled the number and this was the only link that came up. I was expecting a load of eBay adverts to buy the number as well but they weren't there....

A year and a half on and these people are still anoying off innocent people like me! as well as these numbers I'm still getting 1 second missed calls from the following numbers:

Now tell me, is that loads or wot? All in 1 week. I've even been called twice on a Sunday morning and just got back from my night shifts ................................. makes my blood boil!

I've had quite a few calls from 08719511035, one ring then hangs up. I haven't advertised in Autotrader but have with Trade-It - maybe they use the same company to do their sales calls. Would love to get the personal number of whoever is behind these calls.............or better still their home address.
