I got a text from an (apparent) UK mobile number - +447765779963 (probably forged - didn't bother to check it out) saying there was a 'Large Parcel awaiting delivery' and I should call the 0023222270680 number. This is a Sierra Leone number. I don't expect parcels from there. I don't know any parcel carriers based there. I ignored it. It feels too much like a scam.
Anyone else get these?

Yes, I have had the ssame message - I was waiting for various delieveries and phoned the number - it has cost me the best part of £10 - have reported it to my mobile company but not sure if they can do anything about it.

I have been getting these calls and texts for a couple of months now, they call at stupid times liek 4 in the morning. Im extremely annoyed as my phone provider says they cant do anything and i have to change my number! Why should I have to do this?
They also send text messages asking about my family and saying god bless etc and they are obvioulsy trying to make me call or text them back but I havent done this as I realized it must be a scam. I am worried though that I will get charged for reading the text messages and its also tothe point of harrasment now and I dont know what to do to make them stop!!
